From an idea to reality
Mokhotho Farm was founded with a vision to transform the practice of agriculture. Starting with just a few acres of land, our commitment to sustainable agricultural practices and quality food produce propelled the will to grow to a bigger farming enterprise. Over the years, we’ve expanded our reach, embracing innovative farming techniques that not only enhance crop yield but also preserve the environment for future generations.
We have diversified crop production from reliance on rain fed cropping to irrigation cropping. Reaching out to individual consumers, the manufacturers that are in the city and retailers who deliver value added produce to our consumers.
Mokhotho was born out out a concept of all season crop hasbandry towards alleviating food shortages and enhancing economic well being. From one hacter of maize, we grew to 15 hacters allocated to maize, beans and sorghum. Present land size remain expanding to meet the requirements of the market introducing new crops on our list of produce.
Further expansions are necessitated by new production contracts with both processors, manufactures and traders who demand our produce for raw materials and supplying as food to local and international communities.
